The physicians at Women Ob/Gyn provide comprehensive obstetric care for both normal and high risk pregnancies. We provide our patients with the highest quality prenatal care, so they can have the best possible experience during their pregnancy and delivery. We provide counseling and educational materials to our patients. We offer genetic testing and have on site ultrasound and fetal monitoring. Patients with complicated pregnancies are co-managed with our maternal-fetal medicine specialists. Our patients labor and deliver in private birthing rooms at the Clatinoff Pavilion at Anne Arundel Medical Center. The hospital has a level 3 NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).
Pregnant patients are seen at both our Annapolis and Kent Island offices. All of our physicians manage obstetric patients and deliver babies.
The physicians and nurse practitioners at Women Ob/Gyn provide comprehensive gynecologic care for women from adolescence to post menopause. Gynecologic services in the office include routine well woman exams, contraceptive counseling, preconception counseling, and HPV vaccinations. We also provide evaluation and treatment of common and complicated gynecologic problems including abnormal pap smears, gynecologic infections, abnormal bleeding, infertility, menopause, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and pelvic pain.
All of our physicians are trained and experienced in minimally invasive and traditional gynecologic surgeries. Common minor office procedures which we perform include IUD insertions, cryosurgery of the cervix, and biopsies of the cervix, uterus, and vulva.
We are able to offer procedures in the operating room or, depending on the procedure, in our office under local anesthesia if the patient prefers that option.
- Hysteroscopy With Endometrial Sampling or Polypectomy
- Essure Tubal Ligation
- Endometrial Ablation
We perform surgeries requiring regional or general anesthesia at the Edwards Pavilion at Anne Arundel Medical Center. These include the full range of benign gynecologic surgeries from minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery to vaginal and major abdominal surgeries. Patients requiring post op admission recover in a private room on the Women’s Surgical Unit in the Clatinoff Pavilion at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
